Roebuck House, Torquay

We have been appointed to carry out the detailed design and specification for a 1970s office building conversion to 43 flats in this six storey building. More details to follow soon!

Former Riverside Centre, Duke St Birkenhead

We have completed the M&E tender package for 10 x flats and 3 x town houses as part of a new build social housing development.  We provided the client with the full detailed design, drawings, specification, tender summary, designers risk assessment, SAP and EPC calculations.


The project includes, gas fired central heating & hot water, above ground drainage, positive input ventilation, power, internal and external lighting, telecoms, fire & security systems and sitewide incoming  utility services.


We have obtained utility quotations from United Utilities, Fulcrum Connections, BT, Scottish Power and Virgin Media which are all in place to ensure smooth budgeting and programming. 


We will see this project through tender, construction and snagging to handover.  

The Windsor Castle, Clapton, London

Octave Design Services have been appointed to carry out the full detailed Mechanical & Electrical Services Design and Specification for the refurbishment of The Windsor Castle Public House and six self contained apartments. We will act as the lead consultant and produce SAP calcs and ensure that the design complies with Building Regulations Part L1A and the local authority requirements, working closely with the Architect and the Design Team.  There will be an aspect of commercial kitchen ventilation within the remodelled pub. We will work closely with the local water and electricity providers to provide new, individually metered supplies.  We will see this project through tender, construction and snagging to handover.

Priest House, Cradley Heath, Birmingham

Octave Design Services have completed the detailed design package for the conversion of a 1970s office building into 21 x 1 and 2 bedroom Flats. 


The project includes Extract Ventilation to comply with Part F, Water & Electricity Metering, Electric Heating, Electric Water Heating, Power Distribution, Lighting, Electricity Upgrade, Boosted Water System, Above Ground Drainage, Dry Riser and coordination with sprinkler specialist for sprinkler system to BS 9521:2014. 


The project is now on site and progressing well. We will update with further information in due course.
