Carl completes the 52 Mile Tour of Merseyside 2021
Thank you to all our friends, family and business contacts for your support and donations this week which has totalled £200 added to our
Carl completed the last race in 1:49:30 and from what turned out to be a very wet morning to begin with, actually turned into the cool, calm and dry run he had hoped for. Carl completed the whole course across the week in a combined time of 7:44:04.
I should probably also mention that Carl went to the Heath Gym every day too before running in the evening.Carl loved the Tour this year and has already signed up for next year. I was tempted to sign up too because the atmosphere and camaraderie at these events is fantastic... then I remember that I hate running and the thought of even attempting a 12 mile run makes me queasy....
Thank you to BTR Liverpool and the volunteers for organising another brilliant event and a huge Congratulations to all of the runners... Roll on 2022!
