"Everyone's a winner baby!"

"Team Pratt" (Carl, Ali, Charlie, Lizzy and Rosie) had a fantastic action packed weekend in Leeds taking part in the British Transplant Games. This was an amazing opportunity for Charlie, and the whole family, and wouldn't be possible with the amazing Children's Heart Unit Fund (CHUF). We were proud to be part of The Freeman Children's Team, everyone made us feel welcome and like family. At the awards Gala we took away trhe trophy for best Children's Heart Team! 

 

We all got to compete in one or more events and met some wonderful people along the way. We were so proud of the kids and Carl who all won medals. Charlie won Silver in the cup stacking and bronze in the 50 metre dash, Lizzy a bronze for cup stacking and Carl a silver for football. Rosie won an honorary medal for "prettiest dress"!. Charlie also won a special trophy "The Ewan Smith Determination Award" donated by the family of Ewan who sadly passed away. 

 

We are all looking forward to competing at Coventry in 2023!
